The Jerseyville Police Department is committed to serving this city with a community oriented approach. The City is a progressive community with a small town feel. I, along with the rest of the officers are proud to be part of the City of Jerseyville and the Jerseyville Police Department. I believe that Community and Policing go hand in hand and I welcome community partnership.

I was born and raised in Jerseyville and graduated from Jerseyville Community High School. I have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. One goal I set for myself in high school was to become a police officer for the Jerseyville Police Department. In June of 1995 that goal became a reality. In 2004 I reached a second goal which was to be the Chief of Police for my hometown community. The City of Jerseyville has been a great place to raise a family and I look forward to the future of the City as it grows and my work within the Police department. I would recommend Jerseyville to anyone looking for a place to live and raise a family. We will continue to work hard to keep you and your city safe.
